this place was an absolute let down. the staff were rude and unaccommodating, especially when asking for a bathroom for my pregnant friend. plus, waking up to creaky floors is not how I expected to enjoy my stay. I thought I would at least get an upgrade for my troubles, but nope! just dreadful.

I stayed in a Budget Single Room for 2 nights. While the bed was comfortable, the lack of a bathroom door and poor ventilation made for awkward moments. creaky floors from the room above created early morning disturbances. Improvements in privacy and sound insulation would enhance the experience.

I had issues with the bathroom setup in my room. The lack of a door meant there was absolutely no privacy while using it, which felt quite awkward. the floors creaked loudly, leading to early morning disturbances that shattered any hopes of a relaxed vacation.

The breakfast at Ty Llew Lodge was a culinary dream—fresh local ingredients cooked to perfection! The room was tidy and peaceful, making it a splendid retreat. Plus, the friendly host added a welcoming touch that made it feel like home.
A cheeky downside was the noise from the other rooms. it was a bit lively at times. While not a dealbreaker, it could be improved for a quieter stay.

The Deluxe Double Room was a standout with great comfort for a quick getaway. It had modern decor that was visually appealing, and overall, the cleanliness of the accommodations made the stay much more enjoyable.
The Budget Single Room was a mixed bag. Creaky floors from the room above made for a noisy environment early in the morning, which was disruptive to sleep. Privacy was lacking with a bathroom that had no door and poor ventilation. it turned into a sauna after a shower. Plus, the street-level curtains meant a lack of coverage—definitely not ideal for feeling at ease. It simply missed the mark in terms of comfort and design.

A solo traveler's oasis
Gail, the host, welcomed me like family, instantly making the place feel like home. The breakfast was amazing, with options that included porridge topped with Welsh whiskey-seriously, life-changing!
It wasn't exactly budget-friendly but worth every penny.

great stay with minor room issue
The cooked breakfast on both days was delicious and beautifully served. The separate unit I stayed in was immaculate with modern decor and accessories. The view of the mountains from the garden was a highlight that added to the overall experience.
The room could benefit from additional soundproofing.

Exceptional hospitality and a delightful breakfast
I had a wonderful experience staying here! The hospitality was top-notch, especially when the host went above and beyond to accommodate my early arrival. Breakfast was a highlight, featuring a variety of locally sourced options that tasted incredible. The room was very clean and cozy, making it a perfect place to unwind after a day out. I just wish there was a bit more soundproofing as it could get a little noisy in the mornings.
